The highly anticipated 2016 Honda Civic Coupe will make its world premiere at the Los Angeles auto show, next week.
Based on the same underpinnings as the 2016 Civic Sedan, the two-door body will be offered with Honda’s new turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that delivers 174hp. The Japanese brand had previewed the model with a near-production concept of a Civic Coupe (pictured here) at the New York Auto Show earlier this year.
The second version of the 10th Civic generation will be followed by the high-performance Si models and a 5-door hatchback, with the first ever Civic Type-R for the U.S. market to join them later on.
Full details on the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe will be announced at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, on November 18. The company’s stand at the event will also see the North American premiere of the Clarity Fuel Cell, which was announced earlier in the day.
In the meantime, we will remind you that the new Civic Sedan will arrive at Honda’s dealerships nationwide on November 12, with prices ranging from $18,640 for the LX Sedan 2.0L to $26,500 for the Touring Sedan 1.5-liter Turbo PZEV. Full pricing details on the car can be found here.
