The Lorinser tuning house will display their latest project to the 2015 Essen Motor Show, alongside their upgraded CLA and Smart FoTtwo models.
Its new offering, the C50, is a white C 450 AMG with 435 PS, instead of 367 PS of the stock car. Torque has also went up from 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) to 620 Nm (458 lb-ft). Not a bad way to spend €1,051…
The 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint takes 4.6 seconds – 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard model. The body-kit costs €7,985 and includes new bumpers, a rear deck lid spoiler, mirror trims and a sports exhaust muffler.
Inside, the C50 can be customized with aluminum pedals, illuminated door sills and floor mats featuring the company’s logo. You might want brace yourself if you’re interested in also purchasing a set of 20″ wheels (upgrading from the 19″ ones), because those will set you back an eye-watering €10,424.
As for the Smart, this isn’t the first time we’ve laid eyes on this particular car, which was presented in October. In addition to a performance module and a custom exhaust, Lorinser also installed a body-kit, lowering kit and matte black 6-spoke wheels.
It looks like a good package for the third-generation mini city car, especially since it looks a little bulkier than the first and second-gen models and could always use a little bit more aggression in terms of aesthetics.
CLA owners visiting Essen will also catch a glimpse of what their own car might turn into if they decide to bring it into a Lorinser shop. The German tuning company offers mods for both the CLA 250 as well as the 45 AMG model, increasing the power by 34 PS and 48 PS respectively.
