The popular artist had his personal 1993 Legend fully restored by Acura as a way to celebrate the loyalty of the brand’s owners.

Chris Bridges aka Ludacris had his Acura Legend before he became famous and even had it featured on his Ludaversal studio album, saying that it’s his personal dream car. After a wreck though and with the clock counting 280,000 miles on it, Acura stepped in and decided to perform a full restoration on it, but not without a few personalized touches.

The restoration process took about two months to complete. Apart from the necessary work on the frame, body and chassis, the car was painted in a custom combination of Warm Cashmere and Ice Pearl which is just fancy talk for light gold-ish. A set of 18-inch Rays wheels, custom high performance six-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear ones and a new lowered by two inches suspension thanks to H&R springs and Eibach camber kit later, this Acura Legend was ready.

But since this is a celebrity artist’s car, Acura went on and installed a massive audio system with twin subwoofer speakers in the trunk because Ludacris. “Seeing the car that has been such a big part of my life brought back to beyond its original condition was a real gift”, said Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges. “The Legend is back and better than ever and I have my friends at Acura to thank for that.”

The car was displayed at the SEMA Show next to a 2016 ILX sedan tuned by Galpin Auto Sports which will be donated to the Ludacris Foundation.
