Small hot hatches are “the bomb” and this particular example makes no exception. It was signed by M-Sport’s partners at Permashine and it brings a host of styling enhancements, mirroring the Fiesta RS WRC.
Each car has 2015 M-Sport World Rally Team livery-inspired graphics, a unique gloss black rear spoiler and individual carbon fiber build numbers on the tailgate. In the cabin there is a custom steering wheel wrapped in leather and Alcantara, while the M-Sport logo is found on the custom embroidered seats, floor mats, gear lever and on the rev counter.
The 1.6-liter EcoBoost direct-injection engine received a Mountune MP215 upgrade, which nudges output from 200PS (197 HP) and 274 Nm (202 lb-ft), to 215 PS (212 HP), at 6,000 rpm, and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft). Power is sent to the OZ Superturismo LM 7×17-inch ET42 light alloy wheels through the Ford IB6 gearbox, which features a Quaife ATB limited slip differential. The extra oomph doesn’t interfere with the factory warranty of the car.
Those interested in more options can get the “Handling Pack” with Eibach Pro springs and Bilstein inverted mono tube struts, along with Alcon calipers, 332mm discs and Goodridge braided brake hoses. The M-Sport cold air induction system with Pipercross high-flow foam filter was added to the package too, with the modified exhaust system with a custom-made rear silencer completes the upgrades list.
The Ford Fiesta M-Sport Edition costs £21,600 ($32,511) OTR, in the UK.
