Renault upgrades the standard equipment levels of its popular Clio and Captur models free of charge.
The upgrades include the introduction of DAB radio on all models fitted with either MediaNav or R-Link infotainment systems, which means every Clio or Captur model, apart from the entry-level versions, now comes with this feature as standard.
Both MediaNav and R-Link infotainment options have also been upgraded, with the first one now offering Bluetooth streaming, TMC traffic information and SIRI ‘Eyes Free’ function for iPhone users. The R-Link system gains a new, crispy and more sensitive touchscreen which allows multi-touch gestures like pinch-to-zoom.
Other changes to the Renault Clio’s range include the replacement of the Expression+ trim level with the Play version, bringing the supermini in line with its smaller Twingo’s range. The Dynamique S Nav version now gets a newly designed leather steering wheel and grey upholstery.
Priced from £11,145 in the UK market, the Renault Clio is available in five trim levels and with a choice of two petrol and one diesel engine. Europe’s best-selling compact crossover, the Renault Captur is available in four trim levels and with a range of two petrol and two diesel engines, with prices starting from £14,295.
