Land Rover decided to showcase the new RR Evoque Convertible in a Santa Monica beach-side photoshoot featuring Bond girl Naomie Harris.
Revealed for the first time ahead of the 2015 LA Auto Show, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible took to the iconic coastline of Los Angeles in order to pose alongside Spectre actress Naomie Harris, who seemed absolutely charmed by the newest addition to the Range Rover family.
Speaking of charmed, Naomie is looking pretty charming herself, especially when she says that the Evoque Convertible works just as well in LA as it would in England, and playfully begs LR to let her take the car home.
“I was so impressed by the design of this car; it’s like nothing I’ve seen on the road before and is so sleek! I love the fact that it is just as much at home driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in LA, as it is off-road in the British Countryside,” said the British actress.
In order to celebrate the world debut of the Evoque Convertible, Land Rover will display full-size wireframe sculptures of the model in West Hollywood at Le Zinque from Nov 16-17 and on the Santa Monica Pier from Nov 18-20 – so if you want to check them out in person, you better make sure to drop by these locations before the weekend.
Since its introduction in 2011, more than 450,000 Range Rover Evoques have been produced globally, making this the fastest-selling Land Rover model of all time. The Evoque has also won more than 165 international awards since its debut.
Sales for the Convertible are expected to begin in Spring 2016, as UK prices start from £47,500 OTR for the TD4 HSE Dynamic spec model. US customers will have to wait until mid-2016 in order to purchase the $50,475 car.
