If you enjoy Ken Block’s Gymkhana series and other stunts, then you have to see what these two guys are capable of. Meet Formula Drift double champion Chris Forsberg and his friend, professional drifter Ryan Tuerck, with their 1000HP Japanese cars.
Tokyo Drift? Not exactly, because the place where it all happened is Hawthorne Mall, in Los Angeles, built in 1977 and abandoned 22 years later, and it sure beats Black Friday for any petrol head. Just try to count just how many times the two extremely powerful machines come just inches close to being smashed up in a haze of tire smoke.
Don’t forget that these are stunts performed by professional drivers over a course closed by local authorities, so don’t try to recreate them.
