The Huracan’s engine is largely based on the V10 of the Gallardo, so it’s no surprise that it didn’t take long for the world’s leading tuners to release their upgrade packages.
While twin-turbocharged Huracans from the likes of Underground Racing have proven to be insanely fast and capable of delivering over 2300 hp, such examples are simply too extreme to use on a public road. If owners of the “baby Lambo” are looking for some extra performance without adversely affecting driveability, then perhaps they should take a look supercharger package offered by VF Engineering.
The US tuning company has lots of experience with Lamborghini’s 5.2-liter V10, having worked on the Gallardo extensively, and its upgraded Huracan provides more than enough oomph to challenge just about everything it might encounter.
In order to see just what the car is capable of, Matt Farah from The Smoking Tire headed onto some stunning canyon roads. With 806 hp and 610 lb-ft of torque, Farah comments that the performance the car provides is perhaps right at the limit for what is suitable for road use.
Yep. We, too, think that upping the power of the Huracan by almost 200 hp is enough. Unless you want to go chasing Bugattis, that is.
