It’s hot, it’s gorgeous, it’s powerful, it’s Italian and it’s practical. Meet the Alfa Romeo Giulia SportWagon, which will make you forget its predecessor, the 159.
Before rushing over to your local Alfa dealership to place a deposit, we have to bring the bad news, because this model only exists on the computer and it was created by Alessandro Masera.
The four-door body was dropped in favor of a more practical five-door estate, the taillights were redesigned, the car has a clean look for the tailgate and an aggressive diffuser incorporating the quad exhaust pipes.
This isn’t the first time when we get to see how a five-door variant of the new Giulia might look like, but if the initial image revealed a lot of plastic body cladding, in the so-called CrossWagon version, the latest rendering has a sleeker look and it might be closer to the real thing.
The Italian-based firm didn’t announce its intention of adding a wagon, but since its predecessor was offered with a similar body style and all its competitors in the premium segment do, chances are Alfa will (at an yet undisclosed point) launch this variant.
