While the McLaren 675LT is itself an immensely impressive performance car appropriately dubbed as a ‘baby P1’, the McLaren Special Operations division is more than happy to personalise examples for customers and most recently, they created this.
Shot here by GF Williams at the McLaren Technology Centre, this 675LT really is unlike any other of the 500 being produced. For starters, it has been painted in a shade of matte grey which gives it a stealthy persona and helps highlight some of its curvaceous lines, particularly across the bonnet and front wheel arches.
To help contrast the matte grey paint are a selection of bright orange accents on the front bumper, bonnet, roof, side skirts, around the side air intakes and elements of the rear fascia. As we’ve come to expect from MSO, the available special features don’t just end with paint.
Notably, this 675LT has also been fitted with a roof scoop similar to the one found on the McLaren 650S Le Mans edition. Furthermore, a pair of carbon fibre air vents have been installed on the front wheel arches, looking very similar to those from the latest Porsche 911 GT3 RS. After seeing them installed on this 675LT, we’re somewhat surprised they don’t come standard on the 675LT as they suit the track-oriented car’s aggressiveness perfectly.
