Have you ever wanted to drive a real-life Formula 1 car in the comfort of your own living room? Well, now you can…sort of.
This cool-looking contraption may seem like a Formula 1 car with some monitors on top of it, but it’s actually a full-size, high-end F1 Style Show car that sports some serious simulation equipment – or so that’s what its sellers says.
Yup, this every kid’s dream racing sim, manufactured by FMCG – racing car and simulator constructor specialists who have been producing high end single-seater show cars and simulators since 1986 – is up for grabs on Costco in the UK for the mind-boggling price of £89,999 ($135,506).
So, it’s not your average “built-it-yourself” gaming rig, and for that kind of money it comes finished in carbon-fiber, with a plethora of spot-on details making it almost identical to a real-life, genuine F1 car.
For instance, the vehicle comes equipped with Brembo or AP Racing brake calipers, a gearbox machined from a single block of alloy, with alloy drive shafts, an exhaust system, a rear deformable structure finished in carbon fiber and even wheel nuts machined from high-grade metal. Truth be told, the gadget’s spec list is interminable and, to top it off, it can also be commissioned in silver, red or black.
Tech-wise, it features three 23-inch wide TFT screens, with super slim bezels, a 5.1 digital speaker system, and a custom high-end PC with Intel Core I7, triple head graphics card, 16GB of RAM and – among other things – a 1200W PSU.
The only thing left to do is play NASCAR on it.
