BMW 435i and 435d owners can celebrate after Alpha-N Performance’s announcement of a new tuning kit for the cars which provides them with performance to nearly match the M4. That’s of course, the car 435i and 435d owners should have purchased.
For both models, Alpha-N Performance has created a custom ECU and also offers an enlarged intercooler. For the petrol-powered 435i, its turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine pumps out 362 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque thanks to the tuner’s upgrades, compared to the 302 hp and 295 lb-ft it typically spits out. While no performance times have been released, we expect the tuned BMW to reach 62 mph in the mid-5 second range.
Moving onto the 435d, it is actually slightly more powerful than the 435i as stock thanks to its 308 hp and most importantly, 465 lb-ft torque figure due to its use of diesel. Alpha-N’s package sees those figures rise to 369 hp and 546 lb-ft.
Alongside the ECU upgrade, the company offers Ohlins coilovers for both models as well as 19-inch Superturismo alloy wheels from OZ Racing.
Impressively, the engine upgrade will only set customers back 699 euros despite all the added power and torque. For those with a larger bank account, Alpha-N does offer this insane Ferrari 488 GTB kit.
