A brand new Audi R8 V10 ended up looking like this after it was taken for a test drive, from Watford Audi, in the UK, by a potential customer.
Things quickly deteriorated as speed and the wet asphalt played a tricky combination, which left the R8 with its wheels facing towards the sky.
Preliminary details indicate that the driver clipped a curb and flipped the yellow supercar. However, despite the significant damage, the guy holding the wheel at the moment of impact didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
Since damages tp the car are substantial, it’s not known whether the exotic will be salvaged, but with a trend of selling crashed supercars, don’t be surprised if you see it on the “second-hand market” sometime in the future, especially since it has a mid-mounted 5.2-liter V10 with 610PS, which is also found on the Lamborghini Huracan.
This is, if not the first, one of the first major crashes involving the new-generation Audi R8.
