The very first examples of the track-oriented McLaren P1 GTR are beginning to be delivered around the world and now the U.S. has welcomed the most insane McLaren to date.
Just like the road-going P1, car lovers wealthy enough to order the P1 GTR have been given free reign over how their vehicles are finished. The owner of this example decided not to hold back in commissioning a dark shade of green offset with a number of McLaren Orange components.
On the bodywork, the orange paint adorns elements on the front bumper, wing mirrors and the massive rear wing, including its end plates. The rest of the aerodynamic body is finished in carbon fiber, like the front splitter, canards, side skirts, elements of the doors, rear diffuser and the uprights of the rear wing.
A mere 35 examples of the P1 GTR will be manufactured and seeing this car shipped to the US, it seems McLaren is happy for customers to maintain the 986 hp racer themselves rather than storing and handing them over only for scheduled events, like Ferrari does with its own XX program.
