Just when we thought the G-Class Mercedes-Benz has reached its maximum potential – with all the tuning kits available for it out there, DMC teases a tailor-made program for the model that apparently transforms it into a wide-body monster.

Baptized Zeus and set to debut on January 3rd, 2016, the ultra-wide, angry-looking machine will apparently be 4 cm (1.5 inches) wider than the stock vehicle it’s based on, its body panels will be made out of carbon fiber, and only 10 units will be build.

Characterized as an alternative for those who want something more substantial than a regular G63 AMG, DMC’s project will most likely be based on the 537 hp, 5,461 cc (333 cu in) V8 twin turbo variant of the G-Class. Of course, the final product will undeniably have a major power boost, as we’ve seen what DMC is capable of in its past builds.

In fact, we’re actually expecting heaps of power enhancements, mainly because DMC named the car after the Greek god who, “as mythology goes, won an epic battle and defeated his father Gronos” – yes, we know its “Kronos”, but that’s what DMC actually said, and we can’t help noticing that the tuner has a bone to pick with Mansory and its own take on the G63.

Anyway, the Zeus better have more than 823 hp and an electronically limited 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) torque figure, if it wants to mess with the Gronos; or else Zeus’ victory remains in mythology only.
