It may have left production several years back, but enthusiasts still know what to expect when it comes to this German supercar.
We’re talking about the Mercedes SLR McLaren, in Roadster trim, which is the star of this video. The footage shows a silver-finished example driven fast on a foggy road, from the driver’s point-of-view, and we have to warn you, you may end up loving the exotic model.
However, before checking out the video, we will remind you that the Mercedes SLR McLaren Roadster offered a retractable soft-top in three different colors, which opens and closes in less than ten seconds.
Under the hood, the machine retains the V8 AMG turbocharged engine used on its solid roof brother, which is rated at 626PS (617hp) and allows the SLR Roadster to reach 100km/h (62mph) from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 332km/h (206mph).
The SLR was assembled in Woking, back when Mercedes used to own 40 percent of McLaren, and it stayed in production for 7 years, until 2010. The Roadster was introduced in 2007.
