As the end of the year approaches, automotive magazines and websites around the world are beginning to publish their annual “car of the year” features.

Evo have not only dropped their Car of the Year 2015 in print form but have also released a video chronicling their epic week-long test to decide which car of the past 12 months is the best.

Since the publication is focused on performance cars and “the thrill of driving“, there are no economy hatchbacks, SUVs or people movers are included in their COTY tests. The cars tested stretch the full breadth of performance cars currently on the market.

It’s not about absolute grip, turn-in or performance: the key element is how each one make the driver feel. Thus, the list is diverse, consisting of hot hatches right through to limited-run supercars, all of which fulfill the criteria.
