Edo Competition’s Ferrari 488 GTB is not the only example of the Italian supercar present at the 2015 Essen Motor Show. The aftermarket specialists from xXx Performance brought their own version to the German automotive event too.
The model sports a matte red wrap and matte black finish for the front splitter, side mirrors, side skirt flics and roof, along with xXx Performance decals.
Contributing to its final looks are the new Vossen Wheels, with gold spokes, that measure 21×9-inces at the front and 21×12.5-inches at the rear. There is also a lowered suspension system from KW and a Capristo exhaust that are worth mentioning.
This Ferrari 488 GTB is not just visually updated, as the tuning company has also created a 3-stage upgrade for the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Stage 1 has 750 PS (740hp) and 830Nm (612lb-ft) of torque, while Stage 2 comes with 850 PS (838hp) and 930 Nm (686lb-ft) of torque. Last but not least, Stage 3 brings the total output of the unit to just over 1,000 PS (986hp) and 1,250 Nm (922lb-ft) of torque.
Keep in mind that the stock successor of the 458 Italia has 670 PS (661hp) and 760 Nm (561lb-ft) of torque, coming from the mid-mounted V8.
Correction: the suspension system is from KW not from Novitec
