The hardcore Zenos E10 R is set to celebrate its public debut at the Autosport International 2016 show in January, held in the United Kingdom.
The latest E10 model was introduced online late last month and certainly has the potential to be one of the most thrilling driver’s cars launched in recent memory. Under the skin, it is powered by the same 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine as the latest Ford Focus RS albeit running on a bespoke ECU with the engine also mid-mounted.
All told, it produces 345 hp at 6000 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque at 4000 rpm. Coupled to that potent engine is a six-speed manual transmission sending power through the rear wheels and capable of rocketing the sports car to 60 mph in a scarce 3 seconds flat and a 155 mph top speed.
Beyond its engine, the Zenos E10 R is especially exciting as it weighs just 700 kg and can be ordered in ‘Drive Edition’ specification which sees the implementation of a range of performance-focused parts. For example, it includes adjustable dampers from Bilstein, carbon fiber seats, 6-point racing harnesses and a selection of new interior trims, including many carbon fibre elements.
When sales of the E10 R commence, it will set back customers in the UK £39,995.
