In just a couple of days, the latest Star Wars film will hit cinema screens around the world. Bound to become a box office smash, the film certainly has a lot to live up to.
For car enthusiasts like us, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the new blockbuster since last year when Hot Wheels announced its latest range of Star Wars-inspired vehicles.
Certainly the key draw card of the new Hot Wheels Star Wars collection is a car it designed as the perfect ride for Darth Vader. While not featured in the film, Hot Wheels did make a full-scale version of its Darth Vader car and being the star he is, Jay Leno had the exclusive opportunity to get behind the wheel of it.
Before that happened, the TV host was shown around the car by the senior staff designer at Hot Wheels, Bryan Benedict. Created as a vehicular expression of the Darth Vader car, the end result certainly bares resemblances to the mask of Darth Vader.
Just imagine seeing this thing coming down the road!
