Minty fresh finishes for high-performance cars were quite a thing a few decades back, but since times are changing, so are the colors used in the automotive industry and nothing really beats white nowadays, in terms of popular choices, at least.
This story may not be about the M4 GTS, which was reportedly sold out, or about its smaller brother, the M2 Coupe, which was unveiled a couple of months back, but about the “normal” M4 Coupe, which was spotted with a new color.
It’s called Individual Mint Green and we cannot really put our finger on it, so you decide whether it’s worth it or not. BTW, in the BMW dealership it sits in this M4 is flanked by a Fire Orange M6 and by an M4 Frozen Black.
It’s a bog standard car, which means no ntuning whatsoever ; which we don’t mind, as the 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine with its 431PS (425hp) and 550Nm (406lb-ft) of torque does the job quite nicely, thank you.
When equipped with the 7-speed DCT, the M4 Coupe needs just 4.1 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill, while with the 6-speed manual, it takes 0.2sec more. Top speed is electronically limited to 250km/h (155mph).
The Individual Mint Green color is not available on BMW USA’s Configurator, so you’ll have to do with the M4 Coupe that starts from $65,400 MSRP.
