For automotive and driving enthusiasts, there’s nothing quite like a midnight drive on some deserted roads.
With the cool night-time breeze flowing through half-cracked windows, the thrills offered from a fast car on wide open roads are almost unmatched. Arguably, the leading YouTube channel for street racing, 1320video, headed out onto the streets of Chicago recently with a group of enthusiasts in some impressively modified Nissan GT-Rs and a custom Corvette Z06.
However, before you watch the video, keep in mind just how stupid and dangerous street racing can be. Not only does it put the lives of the drivers at risk, but also threatens the well-being of other road users. What’s more, the fines for street racing are far greater than any fees one would have to pay to drive around a racetrack or on a drag strip.
Looking through our computer screens however, it can be quite exciting, particularly when seeing a 700 hp Nissan GT-R going up against another with 800 hp on tap.
