You are probably thinking that this is another supercar video with fast driving, insane revs and impressive launches, but you are wrong.
The behemoth that plays the main role in this footage is none other than the Mercedes SLR McLaren, in the rare 722S Roadster version. The exotic was captured on camera in Munich, last weekend, and it’s shown cruising the streets not breaking any traffic laws, if you can believe it (pun intended).
Before checking out the footage, we will remind you that the Mercedes SLR McLaren 722S Roadster was shown back in 2008 and it was produced in a limited number of 150 units. The “722” refers to Stirling Moss‘ victory at the Mille Miglia in 1955, behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, with the starting number 722 (7:22am).
Besides the 19-inch alloy wheels in black, the supercar also has the 722 badging, slightly tweaked lighting units and a modified suspension system with a 10mm lowered ride height. A 5.5-liter V12 engine, with 650PS (641hp) and 820Nm (605lb-ft) of torque allows the SLR 722S Roadster to reach 100km/h (62mph) from a standstill in 3.7sec, on its way to a top speed of 335km/h (208mph).
