Subaru will display no less than seven different models at the 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon, which kicks off in mid-January.
The first one is the STI Performance Concept, which comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine used for the Super GT championship, plus suspension, brakes, exterior and interior upgrades.
The Levorg STI Concept will also debut at the show. The model features a WR Blue Pearl colored exterior, it has an exclusive front fascia, 18-inch aluminum rims, STI-tuned dampers and a red-wine and black two-tone interior with “exclusive accessories”.
Subaru will also debut the XV Hybrid STI Concept, which has a Quarts White Silica exterior with orange-colored accents, orange and beige color interior and STI sports parts.
The Japanese automaker’s booth will host the BRZ GT300 2016, for the Super GT race, along with the WRX STI NBR Challenge 2016, a racing car aimed towards the 2016 24 Hours of the Nurburgring.
A third racer aimed towards a local event is the WRX STI, which will compete in the Japan Rally Championship, and the final model to be unveiled by the company is the CG Robot Racing 2016. Subaru didn’t announce anything on it just yet apart that it’s based on the BRZ coupe.
The 2016 Tokyo Auto Salon will be held between January 15 and 17, at the Makuhari Messe, in Chiba prefecture. By that time, we expect further details concerning the aforementioned cars.
