Even though Rolls-Royce is now owned by BMW, it remains a quintessentially British symbol of sophistication. And nothing says more about British sophistication than a meticulously hand-crafted, limited edition cocktail hamper.
If you’ve depleted almost any other option while configuring your bespoke Roller, the British car manufacturer is ready to offer this luxurious, hand-made creation designed to combine beautiful aesthetics with practicality and relaxation.
Crafted over a period of eight weeks, from American Walnut Wood and the same type of leather found in some Rolls Royce vehicles, the utensil was designed by Rolls-Royce Accessories Designer Sina Maria Eggl, after consulting with experts from Dorchester Collection’s London Hotels, The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, to ensure the Hamper is perfectly appointed to cater for a vast selection of classic and contemporary cocktails (according to the manufacturer).
The attention to details of the unit is outstanding, implementing the notion of effortlessness and luxury with ease. From the magnetically housed parking knife into the wood-grain’s structure, to the automatic integrated lights, the cocktail hamper evokes the aesthetics of a cocktail bar, as Gavin Hartley, Head of Bespoke Design, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars says:
“Each motor car that we craft represents a deeply personal expression of individual customer tastes and lifestyles. This extraordinary scope for personalisation extends far beyond the car itself through an Accessories Collection, featuring exceptional objects designed to augment the lifestyles of the marque’s customers. This beautifully executed Cocktail Hamper illustrates the marque’s intimate understanding of the desires of the most discerning patrons of luxury in the world; Rolls-Royce customers.”
This then is the ultimate option for those who take their drinking very seriously (and probably have a chauffeur to move them about), and it should have a remarkable attention to craftsmanship considering that it costs £26,366/€31,515/$46,328. Granted, the intricate construction appeals in its manufacturing process, especially considering that the glasses themselves take one month to complete and have platinum finished rims.
Rolls Royce plans to build only 15 of these limited edition hampers.
