As part of Volkswagen’s promotion of the 2016 UEFA European Championship football tournament, the company has released new special edition models for most of its range.
Dubbed the Allstar editions, the bespoke package is available in the German market for the Polo, Golf, Golf Cabriolet, Golf Variant, Golf Sportsvan, Beetle, Beetle Cabriolet, Jetta, Scirocco and Sharan.
No matter which model you go for, all Allstar editions carry the same interior and exterior styling modifications.
From the outside, the cars are adorned with new fog lights alongside custom alloy wheels and Allstar badges on the B-pillars. The interior includes the Winter package consisting of heated front seats, a headlight cleaning system and heated windshield washer nozzles. Allstar badging is also found on the sill plates, while a Climatronic climate control system comes as standard.
For customers of the Allstar models looking for something extra, they can be check the Allstar Plus package on the options list – as soon as details about it are released…
The same goes for pricing, though Volkswagen has disclosed Allstar customers will save up to €3,900 cheaper compared to fitting all this equipment on a standard car.
