The paint on Volvo’s new S90 may not be dry yet, since it was only unveiled less than a day ago, but that did not stop Photoshoppers from transforming it into a Polestar edition.
The model presented here is the new S90, the official replacement for the S80, and it sports a gorgeous blue finish on its exterior, which is the most striking upgrade.
Besides this, X-Tomi has updated the front bumper, which comes with a completely new lower part, along with the small blue badge added to the black-finished grille. The chrome accents were dropped from the car’s exterior and replaced with a dark shade, which was applied to the side mirror caps too. Last but not least, we also notice a small trunk lid spoiler, which contributes to the model’s final look.
Volvo and Polestar haven’t announced plans to offer such a version of the new S90, as the flagship model will come with the D4 and D5 diesel engines, along with the T6 petrol burner and the T8 Hybrid, connected to a 6-speed manual or to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Pricing info remains unknown too, but it will probably be released next year, as the model will make its public debut, in January, at the 2016 NAIAS.
