This is the first teaser of VW’s brand new concept car for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show or CES, which takes place from January 6 to 9 in Las Vegas.
There’s not much we can decipher from the cloaked image, even though it was recently suggested that VW may present a study for a pure-electric Microbus, or Kombi, as it’s known in Germany.
VW says the unnamed concept will be a battery-powered model that “marks the beginning of a new era of affordable long-distance electromobility” adding that it will come with a bevy of innovative features to “demonstrate the benefits to the customer that VW will be able to deliver in the near future thanks to the increasing interconnectedness of the motor car”.
Aside from the study teased here, the German carmaker will also present the latest developments in in-car infotainment that “are on the verge of being launched onto the market”, including those previewed on the Golf R Touch Concept.
