Apart from the stock market or estates, the well heeled-off sometimes prefer to invest on four-wheeld exotica like this Koenigsegg CCX.
Despite being built in 2008, the CCX only has its delivery miles on the clock, as its owner preferred to keep it hidden away from curious eyes or bad weather – and he offers confirmation from the factory to back up his claim.
The blue-finished supercar is signed by Christian von Koenigsegg himself on the inner side of the bonnet and, on top of the sport chrono instrument cluster and custom two-tone interior with leather and Alcantara, it comes with a reversing camera and satellite navigation.
According to Koenigsegg, the CCX “complies with the toughest emissions regulations worldwide” and can be legally imported and registered in the United States.
At its heart, it carries a 4.7-liter V8rated at 806PS (795hp) and 920Nm (679lb-ft), sent to the wheels through a specially developed 6-speed gearbox. Sprinting to 100km/h (62mph) from a standstill takes 3.2sec and its top speed exceeds 395 km/h (245 mph).
The as-good-as-new Swedish supercar is offered for sale at SupperVettura for £990,000 ($1,413,000).
