Following its German launch from just a day ago, the new generation of the E-Class sedan is now available to order in the United Kingdom.
Mercedes has priced the new executive saloon from £35,935 ($51,289) on the E 220 d in the SE trim level, while the AMG Line grade costs £38,430 ($54,850). The E 350 d SE has a starting price of £44,930 ($64,127) and the range-topper E 350 d AMG Line will set prospective owners back £47,425 ($67,688).
Standard equipment on the SE includes LED lighting units, 17-inch wheels (18-inch on the E 350 d), electrically folding mirrors, Pre-Safe, Park Pilot self-parking system, Collision Prevention Assist Plus, Parktronic, two-zone climate control, 8.4-inch display, Garmin Map Pilot navigation and 64-color selectable LED interior lighting.
The AMG Line trim adds the Air Body Control air suspension, sportier bumpers and side skirts, 19-inch alloy wheels, perforated front brake discs, Dynamica microfiber upholstery with seat comfort package, Artico leather and three-spoke AMG steering wheel, Comand sat-nav with 12.3-inch display and remote online services.
Those looking for more can order the Premium package, which for £2,795 ($3,989) adds a panoramic glass roof, front-seat memory package and Keyless Start, or the £3,895 ($5,559) Premium Plus package with its 13-speaker Burmester Surround Sound System and Multibeam LED Intelligent Light System with 84 individually controlled LEDs.
Other options include the Lane Tracking Package (£595 / $849) with Passive Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Assist, the Driving Assistance Plus Package, for £1,695 ($2,419) and the E 220 d’s 12.3-inch widescreen display (£1,495 / $2,134) (standard on the E 350 d) and the accompanying 12.3-inch widescreen cockpit display for £495 ($706).
