Alfa Romeo released a short video, teasing the upcoming launch of a new, limited edition of the 4C Spider which celebrates 50 years since the debut of the Duetto Spider.

We don’t know much about the upcoming Alfa Romeo 4C Spider 50th Anniversary other than that, and the short clip doesn’t help either as we failed to point out any major changes over the regular model.

Back in March 1966, Alfa Romeo launched one of the most iconic models in the history of the brand, the gorgeous Duetto Spider which became worldwide famous thanks to its participation in the film ‘The Graduate’.

We don’t expect any hardware changes on this 4C limited edition which is powered by a turbocharged 237hp 1.75-litre petrol unit mated to a double-clutch six-speed gearbox and is based on a lightweight carbon tub to offer near-supercar performance levels.
