BMW‘s Abu Dhabi dealership has been known to host quite a few special Bimmers from time to time, and none is more unique than the i8 hybrid.
Earlier this month there was a recall due to a problem with the car’s stability control system, but it affected just 16 cars and, in any case BMW is still enjoying a well earned “honeymoon” period when it comes to their most technologically advanced sports car.
With a grand total of 362 PS, the i8 is able to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) from a stand still in just 4.4 seconds, which can be considered supercar territory. Add the fact that BMW says you can average around 2.1 liters/100km (112 mpg) behind the wheel of this thing, and it’s easy to see why people all over the world speak so highly of the i8.
BMW’s sports car is easy to customize. It already comes with a dual-tone, scratch that, tri-tone paint job straight out of the factory, so its up to the customer to find whichever color combos best suits his personal preferences.
This one is a white model with Java Green highlights and black accents to cap things off. Not a bad addition to a list of customized i8s to have come up through the Abu Dhabi pipeline.
