A car salesman in Houston is lucky to be alive after he was hit and kidnapped during a routine test drive.
On Monday evening, the salesman at Houston’s Gillman Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram dealership went for a test drive of a red Dodge Challenger with one of the suspects.
The suspect drove the Challenger to a poorly lit road before punching the sales in the face. After being handed the keys to the muscle car, a second person arrived on the scene and together, the suspects tied up the salesman and stuffed him into the truck.
When the car was stopped however, the salesman managed to escape and confronted the suspects. One of those suspects dropped a pistol and was promptly shot with his own weapon by the salesman.
Immediately after this altercation, the wounded man was whisked away by a third person in a sedan while the other suspect sped off in the Challenger while being pursued by police. Before long, the driver crashed and fled the scene.
As of Tuesday morning, the suspects were still at large.
