As the official tire partner of Arsenal Football Club, Cooper Tire Europe has set out to test some of the players’ accuracy with a clever Precision Challenge.
The video shows Arsenal stars Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mathieu Debuchy and Kieran Gibbs trying to kick the ball through a rolling tire which is either bouncing in front of the net or rolling across the crossbar. The tire in question is none other than the Cooper Zeon 4XS Sport, which is high performance SUV rubber.
Cooper Tire Europe currently has a multi-year sponsorship deal with Arsenal, which according to the manufacturer. reflects a passion for performance and drive for success – obviously true for all tire companies as well as all top tier Premier League teams.
“Our philosophy is ‘driven by success’ and what each edition of our Cooper Precision Challenge series demonstrates is how the players are similarly driven by accuracy and excellence,” argued Sarah McRoberts, Cooper Tire Europe marketing manager.
“Cooper is extremely proud of its partnership with Arsenal Football Club and the leverage the sponsorship gives the brand. Arsenal’s players never fail to deliver entertaining video content, which we thoroughly enjoy sharing with fans.”
As you could probably deduce from the first quote, this isn’t the first time the company has put together a Precision Challenge – last year they came up with something similar, only it was Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla on the pitch.
This year’s winner was Kieran Gibbs, who showed surprising accuracy despite being a defensive player.
