From the road, into a river and on its way to the scrap yard is the short life story of a Ferrari California.
This isn’t the first time that an Italian exotic takes a bath and it certainly won’t be the last time either, but while in most cases there were a few factors that led the vehicles for a swim, it seems that in this case, it’s only the driver’s fault.
The guy holding the wheel of the California was reportedly street racing in Brazil when he lost control while trying to overtake a car. The rear end probably decided it’s a good time to shred its tires and the rest is history.
Needless to say that Ferraris do float, if there was ever any doubt, and they also attract a large crowd, especially with incidents like this one. Pulling it out from the river was a tractor and the locals gave a hand too, but by the looks of it, there isn’t anything that can be salvaged from the California anymore.
