The upcoming Maserati Levante continues its development in cold weather conditions, but this time, our spies got a first glimpse of the luxury SUV’s interior.
Despite the heavy camouflage of the dashboard, certain exposed elements reveal the safe approach Maserati has chosen for its first SUV model. The partially exposed center console on the dashboard looks pretty similar to that of the Maserati Ghibli, with the layout positioning the infotainment’s touchscreen between the two vertical air-vents.
The high transmission tunnel is also here but that’s expected from a luxurious SUV of this size. Maserati has confirmed that the new Levante will share its underpinnings with the Ghibli and Quattroporte, including the all-wheel drive system, the V6 petrol and diesel engines and the 3.8-litre V8 petrol unit.
Following successive delays in the date of the debut, the Maserati Levante is supposed to be revealed in its full, production glory in the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Let’s hope this time FCA will keep its promise.
