Most Lego creations can fit right in the palm of your hand, but not this one.

It started life as a pile of small bricks, 215,158 to be specific, and after 12 weeks of construction and more than 1,000 man-hours, the life-sized camper van was born.

The trailer can easily pass as real on the highway, but it’s less likely that its creators will ever take it there, not that it cannot cope with specific needs because it features a sink with running water, electric lights, bed, seating and it also simulates cooking facilities and fridge, inside its 3,60 meters long and 2,20 meters tall body.

Since coming across a full-sized functional Lego camping trailer is uncommon, it was registered with Guinness World Records: “Lego is proving to be extremely popular with record breakers, so much that we have entire spreads dedicated to it in the Guinness World Records 2016 Edition“, said Craig Glenday, Editor-In-Chief.

The record-breaking caravan, which uses a strong metallic frame wrapped in Lego, made its first appearance in 2015, at the Motorhome and Caravan Show, and it was recently brought to CMT Stuttgart, Germany, where the first video was shot.
