Honda will use the Triathlon Show: London 2016 to introduce the Active Life Concept in a local premiere.
The study has a blue theme on its exterior with a silver roofline, complemented by the integrated smart loading rack capable of transporting two bicycles.
A retractable arm too is used for easy bike repair and maintenance, while a toolbox, bottle holder, water tank and front wheel holder were all integrated in the boot’s side lining. Its aero shape roof box can accommodate the riders’ helmets and shoes.
The color theme continues inside where the automaker used blue stitching on the steering wheel and gear shift, while suede and leather are found on the front seats, along with a carbon tape with blue piping that runs on the center and upper outer areas of the seat and continue into the suede door lining. The black roof lining reminds of the Civic Sport and Civic Type R.
The Honda Civic Active Life Concept was initially presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and it is based on the production Civic Tourer estate, making use of the 1,668 liters of trunk space with the seats down.
Besides bringing the study to the UK, the manufacturer will allow 5-11-year old visitors the chance to try motorcycling for the first time, on a restricted 50cc bike, under the guidance of experienced trainers, who will teach them the basics in a safe and controlled environment.
Hosted at ExCel London, the show will take place between February 11 and 14.
