The Jeep brand is celebrating its 75th anniversary with a host of special edition models.
All vehicles will be available in green exterior paints, including Sarge Green, Recon Green or Jungle Green, depending on the model, with Low Gloss Bronze wheels, Bronze and Orange exterior accents and 75th Anniversary badges. These add to the unique interiors with exclusive seats that carry the 75th Anniversary logo embossed.
The lineup includes the 2016 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary edition, coming in Sarge Green, Black, Rhino, Mojave Sand, Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal for an MSRP of $34,575 or $38,375 for the four-door Unlimited.
Features found on it include 17-inch wheels, unique steel bumpers and front and rear tow hooks in Low Gloss Bronze, power dome with functional air vents, unique off-road rock rails, 71th Anniversary grab handle, Jeep Command-Trac 4×4 transfer case with 2.72:1 ratio, Dana 30 front axle and heavy-duty Dana 44 rear axle, 6.5-inch touchscreen radio, Uconnect and SiriusXM, leather-trimmed heated seats with accent stitching and sport mesh inserts and others.
The 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary comes in Recon Green, Brilliant Black, Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal for $36,775 on the 4×4 models, with goodies such as the exclusive 18- and 20-inch wheels, fog lamp bezels, grille rings, tow hooks, lower fascia appliqué, roof rail and badges in Low Gloss Bronze, unique front fascia, grille and headlights, Gloss Black finished body accents, 8.4-inch Uconnect Nav-ready radio, Blind-spot Monitoring, power sunroof and Tangerine accent stitching on the new Gode-Tex seat cloth or leather trimmed heated seats with embossed 75th Anniversary logo.
The 2016 Jeep Cherokee 75th Anniversary Edition starts from $25,375 for the 4×4 models and it’s available in all the aforementioned colors. The model is based on the Latitude and comes with 18-inch wheels, badges and trim accents in Low Gloss Bronze, dual-pane sunroof, 8.4-inch touchscreen radio and Gode-Tex seat insert cloth with Tangerine accent stitching.
The Renegade received a special edition too, which starts from $25,375, and comes in Jungle Green, Alpine White, Black, Omaha, Mojave Sand, Glacier Metallic, Granite Crystal and Anvil This is based on the Latitude and it includes the MySky open-air roof system, Beats audio system and 18-inch wheels, grille surrounds, fog lamp bezels, roof rack, taillamp appliqué, rear fascia and badges in Low Gloss Bronze.
For the 2016 Jeep Compass 75th Anniversary, customers will have to pay at least $24,475 and this is available in Recon Green, Black, Bright White, Billet Silver and Granite Crystal, getting the same 18-inch wheels, roof rails, front fascia appliqué, rear step pad, badges and tow hooks finished in Low Gloss Bronze. These are added to the Light Bronze interior bezel paint, remote start, power sunroof, leather-wrapped steering wheel and 2.4-liter engine connected to a six-speed auto.
Last but not least, the Patriot 75th Anniversary is priced from $22,475 and it brings the same shades as the Compass, adding the 17-inch wheels, roof rails, front fascia appliqué, rear step pad, badges and tow hooks in Low Gloss Bronze. Other goodies found on the Patriot include the leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, power sunroof and the Light Bronze interior bezel paint. The 2.4-liter is found under its hood, along with the six-speed automatic gearbox.
The specs apply to the US market only and prices do not include a $995 destination charge. The models will be available in Jeep showrooms in the first quarter of 2016.
