Kia has dropped a second teaser image of its Detroit Auto Show SUV study, which it has baptized the Telluride.
The Korean firm’s creation offers a preview of its upcoming large SUV that is believed to have a lot in common with the Genesis brand’s upcoming SUV.
Seen here for the first time, the cabin has a modern design with two large displays, one for the infotainment system and one used instead of the regular dials, along with a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a touch-operated climate control system.
Kia’s press blurb says that the study “pushes the boundaries of technology and luxury with unique in-cabin health-and-wellness technology” adding that some of the highlights include the firm’s first use of 3D-printed components that “add a distinct, modern design element to the dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel”.
The Telluride’s exterior design was previewed a couple of days ago via a dark teaser. In a world full of sloping rooflines and rounded panels, the Telluride has a boxy and muscular shape, combined with ‘suicide-style’ rear doors.
Fresh data on the brand new Kia Telluride Concept will be released on Monday, January 11, when it will be unveiled at NAIAS.
