Rezvani Motors’ founder and CEO, Ferris Rezvani, delivered a Fire Orange-finished Beast to one of the first owners of the Ariel Atom-based car, the woman you see in this video released by the company.
It doesn’t compare to having Christian von Koenigsegg or Horacio Pagani pulling in your driveway to hand you the keys to your newest exotic toy, but hey; it’s something.
The Rezvani Beast is basically a coach-built Arial Atom, with a carbon fiber body that helps keep the total weight to just 750kg (1,650lbs), and a Honda-sourced 2.4-liter K24 Rotrex supercharged engine, rated at 500hp (507PS) and 374lb-ft (507Nm) of torque, connected to a 6-speed close-ratio manual gearbox with limited slip differential or to an optional sequential with paddle shifters.
It has a starting price of $165,000 and can shoot you to 60mph (96km/h) in 2.7 seconds.
There’s an even faster and more powerful version that lowers the acceleration time by 0.2 seconds to 2.5 sec, called the Beast X. It carries the same 2.4-liter Honda-sourced engine, which was upgraded to 700hp (710PS). Production is limited to just 5 examples, with each one priced at $325,000.
