Want to take an open ride to render-land and see what an open top version of the Lexus LC looks like?
The car brings the same elements as its coupe sister, except for the chopped roof and the slightly tweaked boot area that has to store it when lowered.
Before calling your bank to find out if you can afford one, learn that Lexus hasn’t presented it in Detroit, Brussels or anywhere else for that matter, as this is just a simple chop, meant to provide a glimpse at how a drop-top version of the LC 500 might look like to scare away the refreshed Mercedes-Benz SL.
Toyota hasn’t announced any plans for developing a roadster LC 500, so fans and enthusiasts will have to settle for the coupe and its 5.0-liter high-revving V8 engine, borrowed from the RC F and GS F, connected to a newly-developed 10-speed automatic that allows the hot-looking four-seater to hit 60mph (96km/h) in less than 4.5 seconds.
