The 2016 Geneva Motor Show will be the place where Alpina will present its newest creation, the B7.

Teases on our screens a few days ago, the new Alpina B7 is expected to be powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine from the 750i, which should be tweaked from the current 445hp (451PS) and 480lb-ft (651Nm) of torque to around 600hp (609PS) and 500lb-ft (678Nm).

This should transform it into a faster animal than the 2016 BMW 750i xDrive, which needs 4.3 seconds to hit 60mph (96km/h) from a standstill, as it’s rumored to knock the number to less than 4 seconds.

BMWBlog reports that the 2017 Alpina B7 will be offered in two body styles, with short and long wheelbase, split into two versions, rear-wheel and xDrive all-wheel drive. On the outside, it will gain the typical Alpina mods, including new spoilers and multi spoke wheels, while in its cockpit, the vehicle will carry bespoke leather and wood trim, while it might also get a high-end sound system.

Full details on the 2017 Alpina B7 will be announced at the Swiss event on March 3. Its North America debut will take place a few weeks later, at the New York Auto Show.
