The Adam family has been expanded with two special editions.
The two fresh models are offered with new exterior colors including Orange Alert, the Brownian Rhapsody and Greyzilla, that can be combined with other finishes such as a ‘Dancing Green’ roof and an “extreme carbon fiber package“, as the company names it, for the grille and the side mirrors.
The exterior design of the special editions is completed by the chrome package for the door handles and kick plates and by the “Swiss Blade” alloy wheels.
The Opel Adam Unlimited and Adam Rocks Unlimited are offered with standard automatic climate control, while the newest IntelliLink infotainment system, which includes the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, is available as an option. The system also enables traffic-related navigation via Apple Maps and Google Maps, while the TomTom GO 40, with FlexDock mounting, comes at an extra price.
The Opel OnStar system is available on the Adam Unlimited, and it turns the vehicle into a mobile 4G/LTE Wi-Fi hotspot that can connect up to seven devices. Other features include the Automatic Crash Response, Roadside Assistance and Stolen Vehicle Assistance with Vehicle Diagnostics with the myOpel smartphone app.
Prices for the Adam Unlimited in Germany, start from €14,300 ($15,500), with the manufacturer claiming an an average fuel consumption as low as 4.2L/100km (56mpg US) and CO2 emissions between 99 and 125g/km.
