To bring in 2016, Pagani has released a teaser image of its upcoming hardcore Huayra.
Details about the hardcore Pagani Huayra are relatively scarce but there are claims that it could be dubbed the Huayra S. Whatever it’s called, the teaser provides us an unimpeded view of the towering, fixed carbon fiber wing as well as a much more aggressive rear diffuser which will inevitably produce huge amounts of downforce.
Beyond these two new aerodynamic elements, the prototype has been installed with a set of new twin-seven spoke wheels.
This very same test mule has been spied testing at a number of racetracks in recent months and is also adorned with custom side skirts and although not visible in this image, a bolder front splitter, confirming the vehicle’s track-focused orientation.
At last year’s Geneva Motor Show, company founder Horacio Pagani said that the hardcore Huayra will be restricted to just 20 units and only be made available to existing Huayra owners.
Alongside all the aerodynamic changes, it’ll almost certainly include an upgraded version of the ‘standard’ model’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter AMG V12 engine.
