If you’re looking for the perfect gift for the automotive enthusiast in your life, then this could be it.
Porsche Design has just unveiled its 911 Soundbar priced from 2,900 euros (around $3,200). The speaker uses the rear silencer and dual exhaust of the famed Porsche 911 GT3 and has then been converted to offer up a rich listening experience.
The soundbar pumps out 200 watts of sound and utilities both a Dolby digital decoder and DTS TruSurround virtual surround signal processing and can be connected to a user’s device via Bluetooth.
To make it the perfect soundbar for any situation, optical, analog, coaxial inputs are also included within as is a subwoofer output. Given that Porsche says the GT3’s exhaust box already provides a deeper and louder sound than a traditional soundbar, an additional subwoofer may not be necessary however.
A small remote control is also included and allows adjustments to the volume, input, bass, treble, and Bluetooth pairing.
