Certainly one of the most recognizable – and let’s face it, stupidest and ugly cars released in recent memory is the Youabian Puma.
Revealed at the LA Auto Show back in 2013, the Puma understandably left the automotive world collectively shaking its head in disgust. The car’s creator was so offended by the Puma’s reception, that he threatened numerous media outlets, including us, with legal action claiming ‘defamation’.
Fast forward a couple of years and it seems that even the car’s creator is too embarrassed to be seen in it as it is now for sale on James Edition for a frankly ridiculous $895,000. That, by the way, is the going price for a Ferrari 599 GTO and a whole $50,000 more than the starting price of the Porsche 918 Spyder. What has the world come to…
Obviously, there’s zero chance the Youabian Puma will sell for anywhere near that asking price. We’d actually be surprised to see it sell for more than a Volvo V70, from which it is believed to have borrowed its interior.
