On the back of the successful roll-out of the Zenos E10 including in range-topping Focus RS-powered E10 R guise, the small British firm is planning a number of new models in its attempt to become a true rival for Lotus.
The first new Zenos model on the cards is set to be dubbed the E11. Unlike the E10, which has been created with track use in mind, the E11 is tipped to be more road-oriented and could prove an alternative to the likes of the Lotus Elise and Exige.
Discussing this with Autocar, the company’s chief operating officer Mark Edwards said “We’re looking to broaden the appeal of Zenos. Our cars are often used as a weekend car, so with the E11 we want to address people who would see it as a weekly car, broadening our appeal and usability without sacrificing the thrilling experience Zenos provides and will continue to provide with all of its products.”
As the Zenos E11 will be offered exclusively as a drop-top, the firm is looking at adding a third model, dubbed the E12 and complete with a hardtop to further improve its practicality.
Both the new E11 and E12 models will follow a similar development pattern to the E10 and therefore be offered in S and R guises.
