China-based automotive R&D company Techrules will show off a unique Turbine-Recharging Electric Vehicle (TREV) in the form of a supercar concept .
According to Techrules, this new tech will revolutionize the performance and environmental impact of future electric vehicles by delivering unprecedented advances in both whole-life environmental efficiency as well as dynamic performance.
We’ll have to wait a little bit longer for the full reveal, but we do know that this supercar will feature no fewer than 1,044 PS (1,030 bhp/768 kW) and a range of over 2,000 km (1,242 miles), which we have to admit sounds too good to be true.
We also appreciate the fact that they’ve gone all the way and created a supercar concept in order to demonstrate what we should expect from the EVs of the future.
In terms of aesthetics, the teaser image is not revealing anything, though it does seem like we’re looking at two vehicles, which is evident from the different daytime running light design. Unless it has asymmetric ones, that is.
