Prior to the launch of the long-awaited Alpine sports car on February 16, the French brand has released a final teaser.
The previous two revealed practically nothing – thankfully, this one provides a view at its shapely and aggressive rear end while posing on a mountain road.
In spite of the cover, it is apparent it has much sharper lines than those visible on patented images (pictured below) that were believed to be showcasing the production-spec car. The rear diffuser for example includes a distinct horizontal line and point on the outer edge whereas the patent pictures didn’t show that.
Beyond that component however, the car looks very similar to the Celebration Concept released last year. It therefore includes a steeply-raked rear window as well as a subtle double-bubble roof and small wing mirrors.
Reports claim power will come from a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 250 hp in base spec and 300 hp in the range-topping model. All variants will be rear-wheel drive and have a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
